SB215 Update: The Governor signed this bill into law and will become effective June 13, 2022. In summary, it makes a Concealed Hangun License optional for eligible Ohio residents who meet all the requirements for a CHL and who wish to carry in accordance with Ohio law. An Ohio CHL is required to be eligible for reciprocity to carry in states with whom Ohio has reciprocity agreements. In other words, you need to take a class and obtain your CHL to legally carry in those states.
